Meet the Doctors

Peter J. Trepper, DDS

Dr. Trepper graduated from the Temple University Dental School and holds a Master's Degree in Neurobiology from Andrews University. For five years, Dr. Trepper served as a Dental Director for a mission hospital in Hong Kong. He is a member of many professional affiliations, including the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Frederick County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a General Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is working toward his accreditation. Dr. Trepper helps to support many community organizations in Frederick by involving the dental practice in community fairs and activities throughout the year. In his free time, Dr. Trepper enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, racquetball, and tennis.

John W. Kershner, DDS

Dr. Kershner graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He completed his Orthodontic training at the U.S. Dental Institute of Orthodontics and Orthopedics. Dr. Kershner is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the American Association of Functional Orthodontics, and the Frederick County Dental Society. In 1997 he served as President of the National Association of Seventh-Day Adventist Dentists. This group currently is helping sponsor 104 dental clinic missions throughout the world. In his free time, he travels to Russia, volunteering his services in a dental clinic he established in 1992. He also enjoys camping, mountain climbing, woodworking and spending time with his two grandchildren.

Michelle Wear, DDS

Dr. Wear is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She completed her general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Wear's missionary work has extended to the American Indians, giving them free dentistry at several reservations. She belongs to the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Frederick County Dental Society, and the American Association of Functional Orthodontics. Dr. Wear's work encompasses general dentistry, as well as pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. She enjoys skiing, bicycling, and spending time with her husband and two young daughters in her free time.

Adam Vitelli, DMD

Dr. Vitelli, originally from Long Island, NY, moved to the Washington area following his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and a General Practice Residency program at Monmouth Medical Center, in New Jersey. He now is enjoying practicing at our office in Frederick. Dr. V is committed to providing patients a lifetime of quality dental care through patient education and preventive dental care. The cornerstone of good dental health, he believes, is through developing good habits, especially beginning in childhood. Many younger patients enjoy their first check-ups with Dr. V. Dr. Vitelli enjoys golfing with his wife, Cynthia, and also is involved with home improvement projects, fitness training and keeps busy in the kitchen year round.
